I am a MA student from Starkville, Mississippi. I study Latin American History, with a focus on the historical relationship between the United States and Latin America, with a focus on Mexico and its development in the nineteenth century. I am particularly interested in the parallels and contrasts between individual figures in the political development of the United States and Mexico.
