Pollyanna Padden
I am a PhD student currently living in Grant, Alabama. I am a retired United States Air Force officer who served both stateside and abroad. My studies are centered on War, Power and International Affairs (WPIA) with a focus on the modern period. Among several other topics, I am interested in the environmental impact of war mobilization. I am the Vicksburg Project intern for the Mississippi Department of Archives and History and the student lead for the John A. Rawlins collection slated to open Fall, 2024 at the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library. In November 2024 I am presenting my paper, "Intelligence Initiative: Mieczyslaw Slowikowski’s Exceptional Contributions to Operation Torch," at the National Intelligence History Conference, Bletchley Park, United Kingdom.
