I am a second-year PhD student from Atkins, Iowa. I primarily study the American Civil War, with a particular focus on questions of the identity, agency, emotions, and motive of soldiers. In 2022, I graduated from Iowa State University with a B.A. in Philosophy and a secondary major in History.
